Do not overload the menu. Navigation in design should be understandable

According to the recent design standards, the menu should have the following characteristics:

  • It should be simple and contain only the basic options
  • It should be easy to view, understand and click on
  • There should always be a full site map at the bottom of the main page so that everyone can find the option they are looking for.
  • The design should be minimalistic
  • Forget about sidebars, they are untrendy and not necessary anymore
  • Include icons to social media but not at the top of the page, but at the bottom
  • Don’t forget, the average assessment time for people to decide what your website is about is a maximum of 5 seconds. You need to make it possible for everyone to instantly see what your site is about and what menu options there are to choose from
  • Always have the menu at the top section of the page
